On April 21, 1945, Tuskegee Airman Leland "Sticky" Pennington took off on a flight in his P-51 Mustang Lucy Gal, but en route the Rochester pilot went missing in action and has never been found. His story will be shared by pilot and flight instructor Austin Hancock, museum specialist for the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo.

Shirley Chisholm was the first woman of color to be elected to the House of Representatives. Chisholm fought for women's issues, was a founder of the Congressional Black Caucus, and in 1972 became both the first Black person to run for President and the first woman to run for President on the Democratic ticket.
