As part of a green effort, The Pittsford Federal Credit Union has donated 12 trees and several shrubs to help beautify the Town of Pittsford.
The trees, a combination of Honey Locust, Forsythia and Hedge Maple, are being planted on Town owned land along the Clover and Tobey
intersection and along Knickerbocker Road.
The donation is part of The Pittsford Federal Credit Union's ‘It pays to Go Green with eStatements' campaign. This campaign has encouraged members to switch from paper statements to electronic statements which has reduced expense, conserved valuable resources, and further protected their private, personal financial information. A portion of the savings is being used to further various green initiatives, like this one.
Many thanks to the PFCU and its members for their efforts to make the Town of Pittsford greener and more beautiful.
