Supervisor Bill Carpenter presented Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth with a resolution honoring 20 years of service to the Pittsford community.

The Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth was officially established in 1989, as the School Community Partnership Council, in an effort to support parents by providing them with opportunities to gain knowledge, skills and tools to influence youth to choose substance-free lifestyles.

Members of the Alliance consist of various community partners who are dedicated to drug prevention and positive youth development.  Some of these partners include the Town of Pittsford, Pittsford Central School District, Pittsford PTSA, Pittsford Youth Services, Pittsford Seniors, Pittsford Rotary, YMCA, T.I.E.S., Monroe County Sheriff's, Pittsford Ecumenical Council and community members at large.

Congratulations to Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth
