Statement from Town Supervisor Bill Carpenter

“The Town of Pittsford and all its employees are heartbroken over last week's events. Our condolences and prayers go out to Jennifer Simson’s family as well as our employee involved.

We thank the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for their dedicated work investigating

this tragic event as well as all the emergency personnel who responded. It is a tragedy for her loved ones and all of us here in the Pittsford community.”
