In 1909, Durand Eastman Park was formally opened by the city of Rochester. The property had been donated by Dr. Henry Durand and George Eastman two years earlier. This talk covers the history of how the park came to be, the development of the property, and some of the primary specimens held in the Durand Eastman Arboretum within the park.
