Greenprint 25 - Mark Greene & Hopkins Farm

May 28, 2021

This year marks the 25th anniversary of our “Greenprint for Pittsford’s Future.” A first-of-its-kind, award-winning program, the Greenprint preserved two-thirds of the then-remaining farmland in the Town – over 2,000 acres of open space in Pittsford.

If you missed it, be sure to check out the article from our recent issue of the Pittsford Messenger featuring local farmer Mark Greene of Hopkins Farm. Mark’s Pittsford roots run deep – he traces his Greene/Hopkins family lineage back six generations. His farm on Clover Street produces an array of crops. Perhaps the most well-know and well-loved are his sunflower fields!  Click the link to read our Greenprint 25 Spotlight on Mark Green & Hopkins Farm

We’ll continue to celebrate the Greenprint throughout the year. Be sure to visit our Greenprint 25 webpage www.townofpittsford.org/greenprint25 – we’ll be adding historical photos and information regularly.
