LINDA DILLON APPOINTED TOWN CLERK

Linda M. Dillon, former Assistant to the Pittsford Town Supervisor, has been appointed Pittsford Town Clerk and Receiver of Taxes; she began her duties on June 3.   The Pittsford Town Board voted to appoint Ms. Dillon during their May 7 board meeting.

Ms. Dillon had served as Assistant to

the Supervisor since 2000. During that time she assisted with a variety of special projects, including the Town-Village-School District Leadership Collaborative, the Pittsford Community Forum, the Pittsford Veterans Monument, the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, and the Pittsford Keeping it Green initiative. She was also instrumental in developing and supporting several special events such as the Family Halloween Fest, the Positively Pittsford and Pittsford Celebrates festivals, the Buffalo Bills and PGA Welcome events, the Town’s participation in Candlelight Night and the various events involved with the Pittsford Community Library grand opening. Her prior experience also includes administrative positions with the Pittsford Fire District and Pittsford Central Schools.
