Roadwork, lane closures Thurs. – Sat. & next Sat. on Clover Street

The NY State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced today (September 5) that paving work will begin tomorrow (Thursday, 9/6) along Clover Street/Route 65, between the Erie Canal and Monroe Avenue/Route 31.  The work will take place during daytime hours and last through this Saturday, September 8 and resume next Saturday, September 15. NYSDOT advises motorists to plan an alternate route, as no official detour will be posted.

An alternating, one-way traffic pattern will be in place for approximately four days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week (September 6-8) and the following Saturday, September 15. Per NYSDOT, the work is being done during the daytime hours so crews can complete paving in a safe and efficient manner.

Those motorists who can’t avoid the roadwork area should plan accordingly for delays and drive with care.
