Resumes due Friday, 7/27 for Town Environmental & Planning Boards volunteers

Out of consideration for the many residents who go away for vacation this time of year, the Town is extending the opportunity to apply for the open positions available on the Town Environmental Board and Town Planning Board. There are two openings on the Environmental Board and one on the Planning Board. Resumes should be submitted by this Friday, July 27.

The Environmental Board serves in an advisory capacity, reporting to the Town Board and the Planning Board on matters pertaining to environmental issues within the Town. The Planning Board is a legally constituted board responsible for the review of development applications in the Town, primarily including those for new homes and business construction or expansion.
 
Pittsford community members with an interest in serving on the Town Environmental Board or on the Town Planning Board are encouraged to send a resume for consideration by this Friday, July 27 to: Supervisor's Office, Town of Pittsford, 11 South Main Street, Pittsford, New York 14534.
