An important message from Town Supervisor Bill Smith

A Statement from Town Supervisor Bill Smith:

This morning I learned that more white supremacist literature was dropped overnight in another neighborhood in Pittsford.  The message is a disgrace.  There’s no place for it in Pittsford.   And of course it’s distributed in the dead of night.  Apparently the distributors of this material are ashamed of their own message.  As well they should be.

In conjunction with the Sheriff’s Office, we’re seeking to identify the people behind these messages.  If we find out who they are, we’ll publicize it.

To our residents:  if you receive this material, please contact the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office to let them know where it’s being distributed.

To the people behind this literature:  there’s no place for your message in Pittsford and no audience for it.  Knock it off.
