Community Center Closing 5pm Sat., Library & Community Center Closed Sunday

Due to the impending severe winter storm, the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center will close at 5:00pm this Saturday, January 19 (instead of the usual 8:00pm time) and both the Pittsford Community Library and the Community Center will be closed this Sunday, January 20. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area, with heaviest impact on Saturday night.  Heavy and blowing snow, hazardous travel and dangerous wind chills are expected.  Dangerous wind chills are also expected Sunday night and Monday. Town crews are on alert and ready to deal with the weather coming our way.  We ask your assistance to keep all community members safe: pay attention to weather reports and follow advisories.  Stay off the roads if advised and limit travel otherwise.  Please note on-street parking on public roads and shoulders in the Town is prohibited.

• Winter Storm Warning mid-day Saturday (1/19) through 6:00pm Sunday (1/20)

• Heavy snows Saturday night

• Widespread blowing/drifting snow Saturday night through Sunday night
