LEAF COLLECTION (ON SCHEDULE) CONTINUES AS NEEDED; ONE-TIME YARD DEBRIS COURTESTY PICK-UP AVAILABLE
Due to the late timing of leaves falling this season, Town crews will continue to collect leaves as needed (they will collect past the usual December 1 cut-off date). Use our online Leaf Collection App to find when leaf crews will be in your neighborhood; find it and more info on our Leaf Collection page under the Services tab at www.townofpittsford.org. Crews will be collecting leaves in piles, reusable containers, or paper bags.
Town Yard Debris collection has ended. However, if you currently have yard debris in reusable containers or paper bags that still needs to be picked up, Town crews will extend a one-time courtesy pick-up for residents. Please call the Town Highway Department at 248-6270 to arrange for this pick up.
Please remember to keep leaf piles at the edge of the road but not in it, to avoid traffic hazards, drain clogging and flooding. Please also be sure to separate yard debris from leaves, placing it in reusable containers or paper bags so it doesn't damage our leaf vacuum or cause injury to a crew member.
