If you know a relative, friend, or neighbor who is a Korean War or World War II veteran, you can help give him or her a unique and much-deserved honor – a free trip to our nation’s capital to visit their War Memorial courtesy of Honor Flight Rochester. For details and to submit an application please see the information below.

Our Korean War and World War II veterans fought bravely
to protect and preserve our liberties.  We believe
these patriots deserve the honor of
visiting their War Memorial in Washington, D.C.
This is the mission of Honor Flight Rochester, Inc.

Since its first flight in 2008, Honor Flight Rochester has taken over 1,200 area veterans to visit their World War II Memorial as well as other memorials in our nation’s capital. We want to honor all interested WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans, and we need your help. If you know a relative, friend, or neighbor who should be honored with a trip, please fill out an application today. The two-day trip is free to all veterans but World War II and Korean War veterans take precedence. It is a race against the clock to recognize them. Private donations and fundraising events allow Honor Flight Rochester, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, to fund these much-deserved trips for our veterans.

Applications are available online and at all Town Hall locations throughout Monroe County.
