Give feedback at Active Transportation Plan Open House 1/12

The Town and Village have developed draft recommendations for an Active Transportation Plan and are seeking input in the areas of biking and walking infrastructure, connections to destinations, traffic calming in the Village, and programs and policies at a Pittsford Active Transportation Plan Community Open House to be held Thursday, 1/12 from 6:30 – 8pm at the Pittsford Fire Department Station #2, 465 Mendon Road.  Boards and maps showing the draft recommendations will be on display and plan team members will be on hand to discuss the recommendations and take comments.   The Active Transportation Plan goal is to create a bicycle and pedestrian friendly network that improves mobility and encourages safe bicycle and pedestrian travel for recreation and transportation purposes. Community members are encouraged to attend; attendees are welcome to stop in at any time from 6:30 – 8PM.
