DONATE PERSONAL CARE ITEMS FOR HURRICANE RELIEF AT TOWN HALL & REC CENTER BY THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5

Community members may join Town of Pittsford staff in donating new personal care items (soap, toothbrushes, baby diapers, etc. – see below for list) for the people of Puerto Rico and other islands devastated by Hurricane Maria.  Please note we are collecting personal care items only, clothes and shoes cannot be acceptedPlease drop off items by Thursday, October 5 at Town Hall (11 South Main Street) or at the Town’s Interim Recreation Center (5611 Palmyra Road).  Personal care items (new) being collected include:

  • Soap
  • Detergent
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Razors
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet paper
  • Baby diapers
  • Feminine hygiene products

The Town will bring all collected items to InterVol, a not-for-profit humanitarian relief organization working in conjunction with Rochester Regional Health, UR Medicine and the Rochester community to ship medical supplies and personal care items to Puerto Rico this October.
