ELECTRONICS RECYCLING &SHREDDING EVENT KEPT PITTSFORD GREEN

The Town of Pittsford’s computer and electronics recycling event held in October was a big help in keeping Pittsford green. Our event partner Maven Technologies informed us that we collected 44,868 pounds of e-waste – all of which will be recycled, rather than going into a landfill. Per

Cascades Recovery and Shred-Text (our document shredding partners), approximately 100 participating residents brought us 3.5 tons of secure documents to be shredded and recycled back into new paper products. That amount saves 60 trees from being cut down – and keeps our town a greener place!
